Holiday Camps in Geneva

Our holiday camps for kids and teens are designed to be a fun, educational activity that complements the school curriculum.

From planning to building, it’s a comprehensive learning experience.

Working with wood has numerous benefits for modern children:

  • It encourages creativity and problem-solving

  • It teaches valuable manual skills, from measuring to using hand & power tools

  • It empowers the children and promotes patience & perseverance

  • And, above all, it is a lot of fun!

Upcoming dates

  • Who is this course for?
Most of our courses are suitable for complete beginners and DIY crafters, with a few that are a little bit more advanced. We usually recommend starting either with the "Side Table & Tray" course, the "Noble Wood Box" course, or "Intro to Turning" — depending mainly on what you're interested in. If you need more advise, don't hesitate to reach out!
  • What is included in the price?
The short answer is: everything! Materials, consumables, PPE, finishing products, and anything else you need to complete the course is included in the price. In some cases, you may be offered to upgrade to a more expensive wood or a larger project for an additional fee, but this is completely optional and will not impact your learning experience.
  • Can I take my projects home?
Of course! They're the result of your hard work and a testament to your personal growth as a crafter. Your projects go home with you at the end of the course, and will hopefully serve you for many years to come.
  • Can I take membership after this course?
It depends! Whether you're eligible for membership is defined primarily by your ability to work safely and independently in the workshop. For most people, we find this usually takes a couple of courses. Before taking membership, you will also need to take a machine training. See more about membership here.
  • I want to sign up, but I can't attend one (or several) session(s). Is this OK?
Most of our courses are consecutive, meaning the projects and skills build up with each session. Unfortunately, this means that simply skipping a session is not possible. You will need to take a separate catch-up session in order to stay on pace with the group. Please reach out to us in advance to schedule and pay your catch-up.
  • I want to take this course, but none of the dates work for me. What can I do?
No big deal! If none of our course dates work for you, there are two options: 1) Put together a group of 3-6 friends/colleagues/family members and we will organise a course just for you with completely flexible dates/times! 2) Get in touch with us to organise a private course for you. This *is* a more costly option, but offers full flexibility and maximum personalised attention.
  • What happens if I change my mind about taking the course?
All bookings are final, so unfortunately we cannot refund your booking. However, you can: 1) Pass your spot to someone else; 2) Reschedule (min. 1 week in advance); 3) Redirect your credit towards another activity.
  • I want to give this course as a gift, but I'm not sure the dates will work for the recipient.
Instead of booking them into the course directly, consider giving them a gift card! This way, they can have a free choice of course and dates, and book any batch for a full year.
