Last week, we held our bi-annual Members' Nights in both Geneva and Lausanne.
During the events, which also serve as a rare opportuntity for members to gather and socialise something other than their woodworking attire, we announced several new initiatives designed to improve the membership experience at Knock on Wood:
Contributing membership income to workshop improvement — we committed 10% of membership contributions to workshop improvements, with members deciding for themselves how they want the money spent.
Monthly payments are back! After a temporary switch to upfront payment for membership, we have reintroduced monthly instalments. Those who choose to still pay upfront will now benefit from a 5% discount.
Discounted private hours for new members — for the first 3 months of membership, clients will now be eligible for a substantial reduction in private hour rates, down to 50 chf/h as compared to the standard 90 chf/h rate.
Freezing membership — going forward, members will have the possibility to freeze their membership. The duration is 1/2/4 weeks for the 3/6/12 month membership packages respectively.
