Guess the Screws: Terms and Conditions

This competition is organised by Knock on Wood Craft Factory, Switzerland, during Les Automnales 2026 in Geneva.

1. Participation
Participation is free and no purchase is necessary. Participants must be at least 18 years old. Only one entry per person is allowed.
To enter, participants must submit their name, email address and guess through the official competition form, accept these terms and conditions, and subscribe to the Knock on Wood newsletter.

2. Competition period
The competition runs from 6 to 15 November 2026, closing at 18:00 Swiss time.
​
3. Winner and prize
The participant who guesses the exact number of screws, or comes closest to it, wins one free place in a Knock on Wood Discovery Workshop.

The winner can choose one of the following three workshops:

Hardwood Serving Board

Bud Vase
-
Salad Set
​
The prize is valid for one participant attending one session of one of the three workshops listed above, subject to availability. It does not include participation in all three workshops and cannot be exchanged for cash.
​
The prize is valid for six months after the competition ends, until 15 May 2027, and must be used before this date.
​
If multiple participants submit equally accurate guesses, the winner will be selected randomly from those participants.
​
The winner will be contacted by email within seven days after the competition ends. If the winner does not respond within seven days, another winner may be selected.
​
4. Newsletter subscription
Subscription to the Knock on Wood newsletter is a condition of participation.
​
By giving separate consent, participants agree to receive emails about our workshops, courses, events and special offers.
​
Participants can unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in each newsletter. Unsubscribing after entering does not invalidate an otherwise valid entry.
​
5. Privacy and personal data
Personal information will be used to administer the competition, contact the winner and, with consent, send the Knock on Wood newsletter.
​
Competition entries will be deleted within 90 days after the prize has been awarded, unless a longer retention period is legally required. Newsletter contact details will be retained until the participant unsubscribes, subject to applicable legal obligations.

6. General conditions
Knock on Wood reserves the right to disqualify fraudulent or duplicate entries. The competition is organised independently of Palexpo. Swiss law applies.
