Start with a professionally made, full-tang stainless-steel blade. Choose your hardwood, fit and drill the handle scales, set the brass pins, then shape, sand and finish the handle until it feels right in your hand. The blade is already hardened and ground. Your work turns it into a balanced, functional chef’s knife built to be used—not displayed on a shelf. No previous woodworking experience is needed. You will use real tools and receive guidance throughout the process.
