A course for those who'd like to work with noble woods and learn to go from raw slabs all the way to a final product. PROJECT: Noble wood box with mitred corners and splines + lid with handle
- Sip & Carve a Comfort Bird
We admit, it took us long to come up with less technical woodworking activity that serves a socialising opportunity as well as a grounding experience. Why is this so special? You make a comfort bird, or other animal with one single tool. It's a seated activty and you will be served a glass of Prosecco and nibbles to leave the office hurdle behind, meet fellow spirits who value new activites, and above all you'll leave with a nicely finished comfort bird. It's ergonomic to hold and serves a grounding tool when overwhelmed, anxious or stressed. Come with you friends, or family. The more the merrier as the days are getting short

- Paint a Poke Bowl & Make Chopsticks
The warmth of wood against the cool touch of clay, the precision of carving beside the freedom of painting: the contrast makes you notice each material more deeply. In this collaborative workshop, you’ll decorate a (pre-made) ceramic poke bowl and craft a set of wooden chopsticks. You will be able to take your chopsticks home immediately, and your poke bowl will be ready for collection after undergoing the necessary procedures in 3-4 weeks' time.

- Carve Something Real; a spoon maybe?
Most group activities are just there to tick a box. Right now, everything is fast, digital, and noisy. People spend their days reacting instead of focusing. At some point, it catches up. Spoon carving does the opposite. You sit down, take a piece of wood, and work it into something useful. It requires attention. You can’t rush it, and you can’t fake it. After a few minutes, the room changes—people slow down, focus, and start talking without forcing it. We don’t overcomplicate it. We show you how to use the tools safely and let you get on with it. No scripts, no gimmicks. It works just as well for teams, friends, families, or anyone who wants to do something real for a few hours. You leave with a spoon. More importantly, you leave feeling like your brain actually switched off for a bit.
